You have come to the right place. Note that these instructions will most likely apply to all Symbian S60 phones, like the Nokia E65. Also note that in case of the N95, this even works for phones without a SIM card, making it possible to call with those phones as well!<\/p>\n<p>In this article I assume that you already have a PBXes.org account and have set up an extension for your Nokia N95, if not please look at <a class=\"external external-ttp\" href=\"ttp:\/\/www.control.aau.dk\/~danji\/how-tos\/nokia_e60_pbxes.php\" target=\"_blank\">this guide<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Let create the SIP profile to connect to PBXes.org:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li class=\"first-item\">\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Create the profile:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li class=\"first-item\">Open the menu<\/li>\n<li>Open <strong>Tools<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Open <strong>Settings<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Connection<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Scroll down and select <strong>SIP Settings<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Options<\/strong><\/li>\n<li class=\"last-item\">Select <strong>New SIP profile<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Set up the new profile:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li class=\"first-item\">Select <strong>Use default profile<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Change the profile name to something familiar: <strong>PBXes.org<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Leave <strong>Service Profile<\/strong> set to <strong>IETF<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Set <strong>Default access point<\/strong> to your current Wifi network<\/li>\n<li>Set <strong>Public user name<\/strong> to <strong>myuser-800@pbxes.org<\/strong> where you substitute <strong>myuser<\/strong> for your account name and <strong>800<\/strong> for the extension number you created for this phone<\/li>\n<li>Leave <strong>Use compression<\/strong> set to <strong>No<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Set <strong>Registration<\/strong> to <strong>Always on<\/strong> to force the phone to connect to the SIP service when starting up (or leave it if you are not planning on using it all the time)<\/li>\n<li>Leave <strong>Use security<\/strong> on <strong>No<\/strong><\/li>\n<li class=\"last-item\">Leave <strong>Proxy server<\/strong> empty<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Set up the registrar:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li class=\"first-item\">Enter <strong>Registrar server<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Set <strong>Registrar server address<\/strong> to <strong>sip.pbxes.org<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Set <strong>Realm<\/strong> to <strong>pbxes.org<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Set <strong>User name<\/strong> to <strong>myuser-800<\/strong> and substitute like before<\/li>\n<li>Set <strong>Password<\/strong> to the password you set on pbxes.org for this extension number<\/li>\n<li>Set <strong>Transport type<\/strong> to <strong>UDP<\/strong><\/li>\n<li class=\"last-item\">Leave <strong>Port<\/strong> on <strong>5060<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"last-item\">\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Set up internet calling:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li class=\"first-item\">Click <strong>Back<\/strong> to return<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Back<\/strong> to return to <strong>SIP Settings<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Back<\/strong> to return to <strong>Connection<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Internet tel<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Options<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>New profile<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Change the name if desired.<\/li>\n<li>Select the SIP profiles to use, if you only added PBXes.org it will be selected by default.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Back<\/strong> to &#8220;Internet telephone&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Back<\/strong> until you reach the &#8220;Tools&#8221; menu.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Internet tel<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Options<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li class=\"last-item\">\n<p>Select <strong>Connect to service<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The phone will now connect to the Wi-Fi network you specified earlier and a globe with phone icon will appear showing that the registration was successful. When you want to call using the SIP account, use <strong>Options<\/strong> and <strong>Internet call<\/strong> to activate the SIP mode.<\/p>\n<p>To switch to SIP calling by default do the following:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li class=\"first-item\">Open the menu.<\/li>\n<li>Open <strong>Tools<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Open <strong>Settings<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Phone<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Call<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li class=\"last-item\">\n<p>Scroll down and set <strong>Default call type<\/strong> to <strong>Internet call<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Next time you will call a number it will use your SIP account automatically! (Note: if the SIP account fails \u2013 no Wi-Fi etc \u2013 the phone will switch back to normal calling modes).<\/p>\n<p>Common pitfall: &#8216;Address not in use&#8217; when you try to call a number (meanwhile you can receive calls fine).
