{"id":335,"date":"2010-03-01T12:23:19","date_gmt":"2010-03-01T12:23:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.cyberwizzard.nl\/?p=335"},"modified":"2016-03-19T17:42:23","modified_gmt":"2016-03-19T16:42:23","slug":"fixing-vmware-mouse-flicker","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.cyberwizzard.nl\/?p=335","title":{"rendered":"Fixing Vmware mouse flicker"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After upgrading a VM\u00a0from Ubuntu 9.04 to Xubuntu 9.10 I noticed that the mouse cursor works fine in a certain region (say 640&#215;480) but outside that region, it flickers between the actual mouse position and the edge of the region.<\/p>\n<p>After reinstalling X a few times and upgrading the VMware tools I found the solution:\u00a0it is a bug in the newer GTK versions.
